Well, this has to be some VERY suprising news/rumor. Megan Fox has NO acting talent what-so-ever, and she is also one of the worst things about the Transformers films. Now it seems that Bay maybe killing off her character in Transformers 3:
“Michael’s pretty much discovered Megan and now he’s very quietly looking for her replacement. He hasn’t decided if he’s going to kill her off in the next movie, but he just wants to be prepared.”
And people wonder why I love Michael Bay. I definetly agree that he discovered her. Hell, her whole “career” is built around her charcter in Transformers.
People have grown tired of Megan Fox over the years. People always say that Transformers doesn’t need to have good acting, and you are just attacking her. Well, thats BULLSHIT. Any film, regardless of its genre needs decent acting, and Fox’s excuse for acting is just pathetic.
It isn’t confirmed yet, but I’m sure we’ll her more about this from her sooner or later.

A VERY HIGH high percentage of the people who saw Transformers where children under the age of 12… so her looks would not affect them.
You dont see children playing with Megan Fox toys, they play with Optimus Prime toys
The other percentage are grown up men who love transformers because they used to watch the show in their early years, these people hate that Megan Fox is in the movie. They dont just hate her, they wish her character wont be in it at all.

That’s not acting, that’s just playing yourself. Take Eminem in ’8 Mile’ for example: All he did was play himself. Did he do a good? yes. However, playing yourself isn’t difficult. Acting is convincing others you are that character, no matter what. If you want a good example of someone who can take Michael Caine. For every role he has played he has been able to convince you he is that character.
Fox has never been able to do that for me. I’m sure Bay’s directing may have had a larger part in that. Diablo Cody is a good director, and even she wasn’t able to help Fox’s acting. The problem is that Fox is cast in films because she is hot, that’s all. If it weren’t for that, then she would have nothing. She would be nothing.

All fine & good man.. I’m not hating on you, I like T&A too, but what makes a movie memorable at least for me is a combo of good dialogue/cinematography (effects)/cast, it doesn’t necessarily need to be any genre of movie as long as those 3 things are on point!
Now as far as bonuses, things that add fire to a movie, are things like T&A, a killer soundtrack/score, etc..
On another note, I’ve watched plenty of independent B-movies that were better than a lot of “blockbusters” out there; mainly because those bonuses kept my A.D.D. from taking hold!

Changing actors does work for the advantage in some cases(Don Cheadle replacing Terrence Howard in Iron Man 2 for example). It’s only becomes distracting for an instant, then it’s fine.
Fox was good as eye candy in the films, but that’s all. The only thing Bay has done is replace a hot woman who can’t with another hot woman who we assume can’t act.
